In 2019, the Green Sun organized its inaugural exhibition and micro-symposium bringing artists and practitioners from various fields together to consider the origins of solar technology, its technical & economic limits, its viability within local communities, and its narrative potential towards building a healthier, more equitable world. In 2022, at the Asian Arts Initiative for Eco/Systems curated by Heidi Ratanavanich and Connie Yu, the Green Sun presents its collection of ephemera including research materials, photographs and artworks accrued since its inception from various projects and inquiries as tools for reflecting on the past and building strategies for energy futures. This archive is made possible by the practitioners the Green Sun has been able to work with and learn from over the years.
